An Everyday Perspective From Nahr El Bared Camp: New Directions In Palestinian Studies
This book offers a unique and in-depth look at the everyday lives of Palestinians living in the Nahr el-Bared refugee camp in Lebanon. Through a series of ethnographic studies, the book explores the ways in which Palestinians have adapted to their circumstances and forged a sense of community in the face of adversity.
The book is divided into three parts. The first part provides an overview of the history of the Nahr el-Bared refugee camp and the challenges that its residents have faced. The second part explores the everyday lives of Palestinians in the camp, including their homes, families, work, and leisure activities. The third part examines the ways in which Palestinians have resisted their displacement and maintained their sense of identity.
