About the Author
Katiba Aaf was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 1990. She fled her home country with her family in 1998 and spent the next several years living in refugee camps in Pakistan. In 2001, the Aafs were granted asylum in the United States. Katiba currently lives in California with her husband and two children.
