Early Life and Career
Chris Wallace was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 12, 1947. His father, Mike Wallace, was a legendary CBS news correspondent. Wallace attended Harvard University, where he earned a degree in history. After graduating from Harvard, Wallace began his career as a reporter for the Boston Globe. In 1976, he joined NBC News, where he quickly rose through the ranks. In 1982, he became the anchor of "Meet the Press," NBC's long-running Sunday morning news program.

Impeachment of Bill Clinton
In 1998, Wallace was the moderator of the only presidential debate between Bill Clinton and his challenger, Al Gore.
