Performance
To perform the Kung Foo Cabinet Illusion, stand behind the cabinet and hold the 1/4" wooden dowel in your hand. Place the 1/2" wooden dowel in the hole in the top of the cabinet.
Have a volunteer stand in front of the cabinet. Ask the volunteer to punch the cabinet with their fist. As the volunteer punches the cabinet, quickly pull the 1/4" wooden dowel out of the hole in the bottom of the cabinet.
The volunteer will appear to punch through the cabinet!
Tips
* Practice the illusion several times before performing it for an audience. * Make sure the cabinet is sturdy and can withstand being punched. * Use a fabric for the curtain that is opaque and will not allow the volunteer to see through it. * Perform the illusion in a well-lit area so that the audience can clearly see the effect.
With a little practice, you'll be able to amaze your audiences with this incredible illusion!
